The crew anticipated every detail before we asked. A week from Göcek felt like our own floating estate — calm, polished, unforgettable.
We chartered for a milestone birthday. Provisioning, routes and a surprise dinner on deck were executed flawlessly. True luxury without pretension.
From first WhatsApp message to disembarkation, communication was clear and warm. The Bosphorus evening exceeded what we imagined from the photos.
Our family of six had space, safety and genuine hospitality. The children lived on the swim platform; we actually relaxed — a rare combination.
Discreet, professional, beautiful yacht. They handled our itinerary changes when weather shifted — no stress, just solutions.
Corporate hosting on board impressed our clients. Petra Noir understood branding, timing and privacy — we will charter again.
Echoes of History
Every bay, every island, every ancient ruin along Turkey's coast carries a tale. Sail through history.
Legend says Cleopatra bathed in the crystalline waters of Sedir Island near Bodrum. The golden sand was allegedly brought from Egypt for her pleasure. Sail to this enchanted cove and feel like royalty.
Sedir Island, BodrumBeneath the turquoise waters near Kaş lie the ruins of an ancient Lycian city, swallowed by earthquakes centuries ago. Glide over the glassy surface and glimpse marble columns through the depths.
Kekova, KaşIn ancient Lycia, near Çıralı, flames have burned from the earth for millennia. The Chimera — mythological beast slain by Bellerophon — was said to breathe fire here. Visit at dusk for an otherworldly experience.
Yanartaş, ÇıralıThe iconic Lycian rock tombs of Dalyan were carved for ancient kings who watched over the river from their eternal stone thrones. Cruise the Dalyan River at sunset as the golden light illuminates these 2,400-year-old monuments.
Dalyan Rock TombsIn the 1950s, writers and artists discovered the untouched beauty of the Turquoise Coast. Their tales of gulet voyages through hidden coves gave birth to the "Blue Voyage" — Turkey's most cherished maritime tradition.
Turquoise CoastThe real Saint Nicholas — inspiration for Santa Claus — was born in Patara and served as Bishop of Myra (modern Demre). Visit his ancient church and the harbor where he once sailed, now a peaceful yacht anchorage.

When we arrived at Alaçatı Marina at 9:45 in the morning, a light meltemi was blowing. Our boat was already waiting: a clean, stylish boutique motor yacht for up to ten guests. With the captain and crew's warm welcome, our day began.
Fifteen minutes after the engines started, our first stop was Delikli Bay. True to its name, light filtering through natural openings in the rocks painted the sea in the most beautiful shades of turquoise. When we climbed down the ladder and jumped in, the water's incredible clarity surprised us. Even at 8–9 metres we could clearly see the bottom. We put on snorkel masks and explored a quiet world of small fish shoals and sea urchins.
Our second stop was Cleopatra Bay (Güvercinlik Bay). It really is legendary. White cliffs, a fine sandy beach and shallow turquoise waters… Back on board, the crew had ice-cold fruit juice and fresh towels ready. Lying on the sunpads listening to the wind was indescribable.
After lunch we continued to Altınkum and Nergis Bay. At Altınkum the sand really glittered like gold. We played water polo as a group, and some jumped from the upper deck. Music played softly and no one felt crowded.
As we returned to the marina near sunset, everyone wore the same expression: “I wish it wouldn’t end.”
This tour is not an ordinary day at sea; it is a real experience for anyone who wants to live the Aegean at its finest.
When you visit Alaçatı, set aside a day for this tour. Especially for families, couples or a small group of friends, it is far more enjoyable than standard excursion boats.
When we reached the pier in Kabataş at 10:00 in the morning, a light Bosphorus breeze brushed our faces. Our yacht was waiting: a modern, stylish boutique motor yacht for up to 10–12 guests. Our day began with a professional yet warm welcome from the captain and crew.
Soon after we got underway, our first stop was the Maiden’s Tower. Seeing this legendary structure rising from the sea at such close range was truly magical. We took photos, paused briefly, and felt the strait’s current.
We then turned north. As we passed Ortaköy Mosque and sailed beneath the Bosphorus Bridge, everyone stood on deck. The thrill when the bridge’s massive pylons loomed directly above us is impossible to describe.
We slowly cruised the shores of Bebek and Arnavutköy. Historic waterfront mansions, green gardens and the magnificent view linking both sides of the strait were dazzling. The crew brought ice-cold drinks and a fresh fruit platter. Stretching out on the sunpads while watching Istanbul’s silhouette was pure joy.
Around midday we dropped anchor between Rumeli Fortress and Anatolian Fortress. Watching traces of history from the sea felt entirely different. Some of us swam to cool off; others chatted on the upper deck. The water was brisk; the panorama, unforgettable.
Towards sunset we headed toward Kandilli and Çengelköy. The Bosphorus turned from orange to pink. Lights began to twinkle; the Galata Tower and the Historic Peninsula appeared as silhouettes in the distance.
This tour is a genuine experience for those who want to feel Istanbul not only as a tourist, but as someone living the city. It makes a difference for families, couples, friends or corporate events.
When you visit Istanbul, set aside a day for a private yacht tour on the Bosphorus.
